KS1 KS2 Map Quiz

Privacy policy

Last updated: 25 August 2026

This policy is for the Android app KS1 KS2 Map Quiz (package com.pawelsberg.geoquiz), published by Pawel Welsberg. It is written for parents and teachers. The app is aimed at children in English primary school (roughly ages 5–11).

What the app does

The child hears a place name and taps it on a map. Scores stay on the phone. There are no accounts, no ads, and no in-app purchases in this version. The app is sold as a one-off paid download (£2 on Google Play).

What we collect

We do not collect personal data on our servers. The app has no internet permission. It cannot send scores, names, or location to us.

On the device only:

We do not ask for a name, email, date of birth, or location. We do not use GPS. We do not use advertising IDs. We do not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.

Android backup

Android Auto Backup is off. Scores are not copied by Google backup.

Maps

Map shapes are files inside the app. We do not download live maps. Full credits: map credits.

Children’s data (UK)

We design the app for children. We apply a high-privacy default to every user: no accounts, no tracking, no ads, no sharing.

A short version for children is on the for children page.

Changes

If a future version ever needs the internet or an account, we will update this policy and the Play Data safety form before that version is released.
